Choosing a quality apartment: what to check
Quality is judged on concrete points: finishes, insulation, lift, parking, residence security, green spaces and shared facilities. Ask for the specification of materials.
Off-plan, the sale-before-completion contract (VEFA) sets the price, payment schedule and delivery date. Also check the expected service charges.
Depending on the price, some mid-range programmes remain eligible for the direct housing aid (MAD 70,000 between MAD 300,000 and 700,000 incl. VAT), under conditions.
